Solid Foods 101

Getting used to the idea of a spoon in her mouth.

She's a quick learner and soon wants to do it herself, and she also thinks mommy's too slow.

Either she's learning to master balancing and eating, or she's gotten word from the tower that she's fueled and cleared for take off.

Mmmmm ... oatmeal cereal.

Finally, something familiar, and I can hold it all by myself!

Exersaucing

Once Clara was four months old, we decided to purchase the ultimate in baby entertainment - the Exersaucer. Clara loved standing and looking at her toys, so we thought this would be a great way for her to stand and play. The first time we put her in it her eyes just lit up! She has varied her favorite choice of toys from the puppy rattle to the graphic turtle to the cell phone.
