Spring Afternoon

We took advantage of a beautiful spring afternoon to take some pictures out front.

She loves to find sticks and "very small rocks" outside. Here she's chewing on a stick. Do you think she's watched too much Baby McDonald?

Around the House

Clara looked so cute in her sneakers and denim jumper, I couldn't resist a few pictures.

The Gonzalez family gave her a magna-doodle for her birthday, and she has loved "coloring." She's very meticulous with her strokes - no frantic scribbles from this one.

Navarre Beach

We had one last beach day at Navarre Beach. It was hot and beautiful. Clara was very good and, though she still did not take to the sand, we at least got her to brush some of the sand off herself. Bunny was a constant companion this day. She even tried to put sunscreen on it!

Always the mechanical mind at work- she had to figure out how Aunt Joanie's water bottle worked. She also had to have her turn in the big girl beach chair!

For my spring break, Clara and I traveled to Fort Walton Beach, Florida to visit Joanie - stationed at Eglin Air Force Base. It was so nice to be in the sunshine and away from Virginia's slow starting spring. Joanie was a great hostess, and we had a wonderful time.

Bath Time Bunny

Clara loves bunnies, and she especially loves splashing in her bath. She loves to wear her bunny towel and play peek - a - boo before getting ready for bed.
